Adjusting my Focus

Hey Loves,

Just like photography when your image is blurry you need to adjust the focus of your lens. As a stay at home mom I am constantly needing to adjust my focus when life gets a little blurry. This year I saw myself making some very important and valuable physical changes with my body, fitness wasn't going to just be a thing where I just do until I get my body where I wanted it; it was going to be a lifestyle change for me. I have been so inconsistent in my life as a mother with getting fit because I am already a smaller frame, active woman I would use that as my excuse to take the extra step to lose what I didn't like on my body which I would just carry weight in places I deemed unnecessary to my personal preference.
With the drive and motivation from my husband I set small reachable goals for myself to execute and move on to the next and with each goal I reached I became more consistent and less complacent in my everyday routines as a sahm. Surprising myself I  would actually anticipate the next workout each week trying to stick to my small reachable goals with my body and once results started rolling in I made changes in my diet that I never thought I would actually follow threw with and I became very proud of myself. Along this 2017 journey I have had the amazing support of my Husband as my own personal trainer for weight lifting and my dearest friend holding me accountable for what I said I wanted to do for myself and I return the same favor for her. We live in separate states but we don't let that hinder us to make sure almost everyday we talk to each other with new ideas for those reachable goals for ourselves. Whenever I do see my life getting a little blurry I make sure that I adjust my focus back to what goals I have accomplished and motivate myself to keep it going because there is no going back to that same complacent sahm attitude/life. While I'm sharing my journey with you all feel free to ask any questions or offer suggestions to what you would like me the share with you.

Later Loves!💋

I am a Promominater!

Hey Love's, Today was a really interesting day, first off I started my day off earlier than usual with the kids and ended it later than normal. "Talk about mentally drained" All thanks to my Promominating today, as a mom you find so many different obstacles that can cause you to procrastinate on the things you want to get done for you. I have to raise my hand in saying I am for sure guilty of this. I have a daily planner that I usually write out all I need to do each day the night before sometimes even the week before on a good day but lately I have just not been on my A game 100% like I would really like to. I have this desire to want to share my life with the world and also my knowledge of being a SAHM and a natural hair Ambassador because of the journey I have gone through over the past 6-8 years. You would think Parris why are you struggling to do things for you if you have things planned out, honey I am wondering the same thing right with you. The problem is I just ...

Living with a Attitude of Gratitude

Hey Loves, So a lot of people wonder how sahm's keep their sanity being home 24/7 with a house full of children and what could you possibly do to keep your sanity? I can tell you the main thing that helps me stay sane is GRATITUDE! Don't get me wrong though I can definitely have my moments where I'm like "what the heck I need a freaking break like now!" Often I have to think to myself if all the things I couldn't do like see my babies everyday make sure they are safe and in a safe environment. I can kiss love and hug them all day, laugh everyday, stay in my pajamas all day, not do my hair everyday, not wake up early everyday! Who wouldn't love or want a life like this, now I can tell you who wouldn't appreciate a life like mine a person without Gratitude. The message in the today's post is to simply be grateful for all that you have in life because there is always someone out there wanting exactly what you have. You can chose what to be gratefu...
